The Maresh Empire, also known as the Arnesian Empire,[1][2][3] comprises the territories, colonies, and protectorates ruled or administered by Arnes.

Overview[]

Geography[]

The Maresh Empire covers "essentially the top half of Europe" in Grey London's dimension, reaching from the United Kingdom to Poland.[1] The equivalent of Great Britain's island—the Arnesian main island where Red London is located—is called the raska ("crown").[4]

Vesk lies north to the Maresh Empire, and Faro to the south.[4][1]

Known places[]

  • Besa Nal: It is located on the coast. Stasion Elsor comes from there, and Stross comes from the same region.[5]
  • Casta: A small place on the southern cliffs of the empire. There, people believe that magic chooses people and that there is a reason for an aven person to appear. Some also believe that priests are the strongest, surpassing even Antari, as they are able to balance all elements.[6]
  • Delonar: Lila Bard and Alucard Emery ship Stasion there on a criminal transporter.[7]
  • Elon: A port town.[8]
  • Hasinar: A brutal prison island located off the southern coast. Alucard Emery spent about a month there after he was caught for piracy.[9]
  • Korma[10][8]
  • Rinar[8]
  • Rosenal
  • Sasenroche: A secret port town and the only place where Arnes physically meets Vesk and Faro.
  • Sol: A coastal city.[11][8]
  • Sonal: A place located in the eastern side of the Maresh Empire where the empire meets Vesk.[12]
  • Tanek
  • Verose: A lawless city also known as the Blood Coast.
